it has been about 30 years ago, we met in Kemper with Gweltaz and Patrice. Patrice told me you were around here no so far ago. As you can see, Patrice and I are working on a funny project.

Meic is performing at the Half Moon in Putney this Tuesday July 24th, 2007. I shall be playing with him and the band. This very rare gig will see Meic performing some of his songs from the legendary Outlander album.
i heard a story t'other day that went a bit like this... meic stevens was drinking in a pub in london in the early 70's, when in walked jimi hendrix. hendrix, recognising meic, asked him what he would like to drink. meic, in a mock-official tone say's, "pint of red wine". jimi returns with the booze which meic downs in front of jimi. jimi, not one to back down from any kind of debauched contest swiftly to the bar to down his very own pint of red wine.. meic leaves pub...... next morning, jimi's dead from deadly concoction of sleeping pills & red wine!!! x
