Meiosis is a rock band from St. Louis MO. The story began back in October 2005 when Michele answered an internet ad Ran had placed. He sent Michele a collection of 9 songs he's written and asked her to record vocals to them. Michele was a recording virgin and went into the audition with no experience what-so-ever, thinking she probably wouldn't fit with the band, but she was wrong. She recorded "Siren Song" several times, one after another, all in complete takes.
Impressed, Ran continued to invite her over to record and thus, Meiosis was born.
Currently the guitars, bass and drum sequencing are recorded by Ran. Meiosis is currently searching for a bass player and a drummer, please contact us if you are interested!
