Melanie released her debut EP, True, in 1999 at the popular Mercury Lounge in NYC. After hearing songs from True, America Online featured her as an “Artist of the Week” saying, "Melanie has a voice reminiscent of Alison Krauss with the accessibility of Sheryl Crow." Songs from True received airplay on the East Coast and her song, Ease the Pain, has received several awards. Melanie spent years honing her songwriting, and writing material that radio stations call "uniquely familiar" and "undeniable hits." In addition to receiving radio airplay, she gigs regularly throughout New York and New England. On her most recent CD, Rehearsal at Pauls, Melanie collaborated with a group of veteran musicians who have shared the stage with such notables as Willie Nelson, Laura Nyro, Steve Earls Band, Reba McEntire, Randy Travis and Joe Flood. "Paul's" brings her music to an entirely new place…with unique vibes inspired by country and rock. This is an exciting time for her; taking her music and career to the next level.

It was a pleasure to hear your sweet voice again! Thanks for coming out to the show and I really enjoyed the Harmony! Im glad to see you got a date at Palaia Winery on Sept 28th. its a great place
Great to hear from you! Don't think there's anything lined up for NYC anytime soon (union regulations make it hard for some reason). But if you do come to DC, make sure you come to the meet and greet and say hi. It would be great to meet in person!
