    My mother: Danae Rodriguez, who was a beautiful, caring, wise, loyal mother, friend and wife. She dated my dad for 7 years and despite his womanizing, she married him and they stayed together 4 months short of 50 years. She brought from the Dominican Republic dozens of family, friends and neighbors. She helped them with the original paperwork. She let them stay in our home until she found them a job, an apartment and helped them get on with living in the U.S.A. She was a role model and an example of a good American citizen. She always helped people to find work, never to go on public assistance. Every christmas and thanksgiving we had huge family reunions that are unforgettable to all who participated. Everyone loved her but most of all, my dad, my sister Tona and me.

Wow I love this group and their awesome latin beat!!

Who I'd like to meet:

Women friends who are lesbians, not bisexual, not in a relationship and NO MEN please. She should be kind, loving, romantic, professional and healthy. I am not into drama or ladies with unhealthy lifestyles. She should love pets and children (even though two of mine are grown and gone). She should be spiritual tho not necessarily attached to any specific religion. She should be patient, caring, intelligent with a career or a college education. Laid back personality would match my own. Fearlessly willing to risk a new relationship that will definitely be worth it. If not for love, for friendship. NOTE: I have been dating a woman who fits almost all of the above except that she is only willing to date and not to marry or eventually have a household together. I am giving it a chance to see how far it will go. Wish me luck.
