The Melbourne Gospel Choir is Australia's most sought after gospel group for TV appearances and backing vocals for international artists. Having performed to great acclaim on numerous shows such as the AFL Grand Final, Dancing With the Stars, The Logies, It Takes Two, Hey Hey It's Saturday, Starstruck, Good Friday Appeal, and In Melbourne Tonight, the choir always performs to great acclaim.
The Melbourne Gospel Choir has backed such artists as Delta Goodrem, Westlife, Guy Sebastian, UK star James Morrison, Marina Prior, Natalie Basingthwaite from Rogue Traders, Reba McIntyre, Nana Mousokuri, Jon Stevens, Dame Edna, Silvie Paladino and David Campbell.
Many talented members make up this fantastic group, including numerous well known performers and singers from around Melbourne.
The Melbourne Gospel Choir recently performed as a feature act on the top rating TV event, Carols by Candelight 2006, singing their version of Joyful Joyful to great acclaim.
