Good writing. Old things and new things. Erasable pens. Basic stuff. Genuine people. Sane people. Crazy people. Vodka Diets. Pharmacy stuff, hearing the locals talk about everything...riding and naming horses...hiking and being outside. Even at night.Writing. Christina Rossetti is one of my favorite writers from the 1800's....she died December twenty-ninth 1894. December twenty-ninth is my birthday. I think that means something. I seem to attract crazy people and drunkards, but that is ok. Bukowski was a drunk, and Plath was crazy.
Music
My first "album" was Neil Young which was given to me by my brother. Brandi Carlile. The Rolling Stones. The Misfits. Social Distortion. THE RUNDOWNS. Willie Nelson. The Clash. Lucinda Williams. David Bowie. Cowboy Junkies. Social Distortion. Dead Kennedys. The Cramps. Sex Pistols. Ramones. Black Flag. Hank Williams. Johnny Cash. Pixies. Ryan Adams. Bright Eyes. The Cure. It's kinda a weird mix, but I'm not going to apologize for who I am...
Movies
Movies about real people with shitty lives are commonly rented...also...Breakfast at Tiffany's...The Hammer...Little Miss Sunshine...Windy City Heat is amazing...Dodge Ball, The Village, Spinal Tap, A Christmas Story, The Full Monty, The Ringer. Heathers. Old vampire movies in the fall...The Factory Girl...
Television
Documentaries. Old MTV videos. I love Two and a Half Men. Discovery Channel is usually what the TV is set to if it works or if I have cable, and if the TV is not in the yard. Except I love HAUNTINGS, and I call TV shows "programs," so I must have had another life before TV was invented.
Books
I keep reading my favorite authors over and over. Flannery O' Conner. William Kloefkorn. T.S. ElIOT. Tillie Olsen (from Nebraska)!! Anne Sexton. William Wordsworth. William Blake. William Carlos Williams. Sylvia Plath is my girl. Margaret Atwood. Raymond Carver. The great CHARLES BUKOWSKI. I love quoting him, "Some people never go Crazy. What truly boring lives they must lead. "Jubilee City" by Joe Andoe. The autobiography of Benjamin Franklin. This Death by Drowning by William Kloefkorn. Anything (even postcards) by Red Shuttleworth. Lots more. I'm in Love with The Maverick Poets. Right now, I love anything by Charles Bukowski, especially, "The Genius of the Crowd" and "The Twelve Hour Night". ...I like Lawrence Ferlingetti (Read "The Love Nut"), Gary Soto (Read when "Mexicans Begin Jogging" to make you laugh from here to the border).
Heroes
I take this as a very serious question. Ask me when I'm drunk. I still might not tell you. Except her name is Dakota Cierra Christina Moler. A real hero at age 14 for saving another child, but lost her own life.

Just completed a new chapbook, "No Lies Ever More." Somehow a Doctorate's in Pharmacy found me, from CU even though my high school biology teacher said I'd never make it in college. However, my English instructor loved me. So I write. And I like performance poetry but I have to be super drunk to do it...I read books and pharmacy literature...Everyone writes, "I don't have time," which is sorta like saying you don't have time to shit. Sometimes you just have to so you can get along in the world. Sometimes I read my work at random places, universities and coffee shops, and once even the Nebraska State Fair in the rain, covered in mud, which was somehow special. My Publications...

I also used to self publish (with my good friend Aaron/Max Stueve) a magazine called "With The Three Legged Cat." I sometimes contemplate working as a pharmacist, but I'm always a writer. And so I submit random works to magazines, in various stages of my life. Right now it is in Grief.
Who I'd like to meet: Dakota...just one last time...otherwise it depends on my mood...I like to see people really get something special out of what they do, instead of just moving through the motions. These are the people that know how to live, and these are the kind of people that I want to be around. Bonnie and Clyde. Einstein to ask him "What the fuck?"...Any remaining friends I still have...Chris Farley because I seriously think he was very charming because he made everyone laugh so much. The recently late Evel Knieval. He was hot (any guy who breaks all his bones while driving a motorcycle has more than guts). Sylvia Plath to ask her about her head in the oven. The Cramps and Christina Rossetti, but obviously not together. That would work out really weird since Rossetti was a poet from the 1800's, and the Cramps are just plain dirty.
David Bowie.
Grandma. Angelina Jolie any day. Make my day.
I like to hang out with spontaneous people, and those that don't take themselves to seriously all the time. I need to be able to talk and laugh with you...if I'm not saying much to you; you haven't totally gotten my full attention yet.
Watch The Cramps LIVE at a MENTAl hospital in California in 78 or something like that.

Have seen dawn and sunset on moors and windy hills Coming in solemn beauty like slow old tunes of Spain: I have seen the lady April bringing in the daffodils, Bringing the springing grass and the soft warm April rain.
I have heard the song of the blossoms and the old chant of the sea, And seen strange lands from under the arched white sails of ships; But the loveliest things of beauty God ever has showed to me Are her voice, and her hair, and eyes, and the dear red curve of her lips.
