I am an English teacher, so I love to read. And of course, I love to hang out with my boys (my hubby and my sons). They are truly my greatest blessing. I like to laugh and have a good time and talk to my family. I also like to play softball and dance.

Braveheart, Lord of the Rings, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (the original version), Back to the Future, Dumb and Dumber, Zoolander, Not Without My Daughter, U-571 . . . that's all I can think of for now.
Television
I like Ugly Betty and Grey's Anatomy. I like to watch pretty much any home improvement or decorating show. HGTV is my favorite channel. The Food Network is a good channel too. I am also a sucker for infomercials. . . I could watch those things all night. EDIT: I used to watch these shows and channels, but unfortunately none of them are broadcast down here in American Samoa :(
Books
My favorite book and the best book ever written is 1984 by George Orwell. In general, I pretty much like all the classics. Contemporary authors I enjoy are Caleb Carr, (The Alienist), John Grisham, and David Baldacci. I also love Shakespeare. My favorite play is The Taming of the Shrew, but I also enjoy Romeo and Juliet, The Merchant of Venice, Macbeth, and Hamlet.

Hey Mele Thanks for the post. It is so good to hear from you. Yes, school is starting in about a month or so and I feel very prepared for it. I am very nervous but I at least found the building where most of my classes will be held. It is not that bad,its just that the campus is so big if I had to walk around the campus everday, I would probably lose tons of weight. Anyway so this week I started going to the gym. It is pretty awesome,my husband doesnt get off until about 11:00pm and then we work out in the middle of the night when hardly anyone is there..lol..I like it that way. I dont want to be the chubbiest girl at the gym.LOL. It is so good to hear that you are loving your classes this summer.I am so glad Katie has gone back to school. I have been reading tons of books and joined a book club my sister and other girls in her ward started so I am excited about that too.Not much other than all I have told you but keep me posted on how everything is going on your end. The rugby games, I dont think I would have joined. It looks too painful,but then again, I might...well don't know.Anyway,take care and say hi to your mom,hubby and kiss the kids for us. Hey Mele How are you? How is the summer semester going for you? I had an appointment with one of my advisors this morning. School is coming up fast...I am so nervous. The school is HUGE!! I was actually ten minutes late for my appointment because I could not find it..lol even when I left my house an hour early.Anyway,how are things with you?I heard there was women's rugy was going on..wierd!!But I was able to talk to Tuna and she said that softball should be coming up soon. Hey Mele Thanks for the post. I am glad to hear that you are well and sad to hear that you have to teach in the summer instead of going on a nice vacation to hawaii or new zealand or some exotic place..lol...well school starts in august and i am very nervous. I am probably more nervous now than I was when I had to do my monologue in your english class. I have no friends at that school except for one girl who goes to the same ward with me. I am going to try out for their softball team this year and hopefully get to play and get a scholarship...HOPEFULLY. How are things back home? anything new and exciting? well utah is utah...i cannot bring myself around to like it here. I cannot see myself living here forever.I miss home so much. So we are trying to make the best of things. Sometimes my husband feels like some people have never seen brown people before...lol...which is so funny because he says he has never experienced so much racism in his life..I told him, all we can do is laugh at it because we cant do anything about that.anyway dont want to bore you to death.say hi to your mom,hubby and the kids and send them our love.Take care

Hey Mele Well New Years is now over and today i went job hunting and luckily the first place I got to they were hiring and I got hired on the spot. So now I work for this place called ACS. I will be doing customer service over the phone and our main client is Verizon so yeah...la di da di da and all that good stuff and so yeah it has been raining? Man, it has been snowing here like crazy. There is suppose to be a snow storm this afternoon,anyway I hope you have a great semester.
