Born around November 2007, Melfraps, derived from the name of a popular (and probably the favourite of our members) Starbucks' coffee 'Caramel Frappuccino'.
History.
The 3 Az-es; Azlan, Azroy & Azhar, started it off with Hidayah (Bass), Sam (Keys) & Taufiq (Drums). It didn't went really well. Hidayah had problems with schedule and height. Sam was still learning keys then. Taufiq, he just didn't clicked with the rest. So, Kheed & Khairi was pulled in. Everything went almost smooth from then onwards. Then, Kheed had time management problems and had difficulties to make it for acoustic sessions and jammings. Ridhwan was pulled in 'cos he's a bummer in good way. Smooth then.
Now, Hidayah is managing us part-time and works at Uniqlo full-time.
We have problems in stating our own genre, cause we sounded like ska, alternative, acoustic, emo (heh) or whatsoever. But I would proudly state Glam Rock as our genre. The style baby!
