Sounds Like
Come to a show and tell me....I've heard "beatlesque".
"A wealth of experience far beyond her years, and influences from across the musical spectrum combine in Melinda's music to create something that is full of surprises and all her own. There is a welcome, accessable pop element to the songs she writes that other young songwriters might do well to note and emulate. She writes not to put her talents on display, but to tell a story in sound. An accomplished player that has shared the stage with a "Who's Who" of today's acoustic renaissance, she plays her guitar and sings her songs as though it's the most important thing in the world".

Hello! I have a great weekend of live music! If you are out of town please look up these deserving bands or visit my event page at myspace titled "Goodpeoplewelcome" Tonight at Mai's Cafe Ventura I have Alyssa Suede the sister of the performing artist BECK. What is really great about Alyssa is that she is doing music at a grass-roots level on her own merit! She supports other indie artists and tonight she performs with THE GRANDMAS, COPPER CLAD & Claire Maire! All fantastic live acts! Tomorrow & every Sunday it's "Sunday School" at The Beachcomber Tavern on Silverstrand Beach! Alyssa is doing this FREE Showcase on the beach with Hippie Cream, Jonathon Eastridge & Aaron, Get Into More Fights & my friend Abel who does a fun acoustic show. 206 Ocean Drive, Oxnard, Ca. 93035! Look these artists up and add them! They are all great people! Thanks! Pete
