I live my dream, I have a beautiful life and I know who I am. Nothing else defines me. I live, love and laugh with all my heart. I am passionate about giving to others. If there is someway I can help you, just ask. One of the greatest joys in my life comes from songwriting. The music dances wildly in my soul and with each new song I write, I grow into myself. I do what I love the most; express my inner most feelings and experiences in life through song. I've been fortunate enough to experience a great amount of success since moving to Nashville and pursuing music full-time. I write with talented artists and writers and have signed several single song contracts. Last year I was named "The Most Promising Female Songwriter" by the Tennessee Songwriters Association 2008 at their 26th Annual Awards Dinner and Banquet. I also hold a full-time job at an amazing Music Industry Company right in the heart of music row! Not only am I seeing success in the world of music but last year I got my first publication with Blue Mountain Arts printed in an anthology entitled: A Girlfriend Is A Sister You Choose" it took years of writing and hardwork to finally get published and I want to personally thank Jason Blume for encouraging me and mentoring me along the way. I attended many BMI workshops prior to and after moving to Nashville my very first year. Jason is one of my all time favorite mentors. However, one of my proudest accomplishments since moving to Nashville as well, was being chosen for Jeffrey Steele's 1rst Annual Bootcamp in August of 2006

Thanks so much for being there Thurs, Melissa!! ;) I wasn't nervous about the show as much as I was nervous about losing my voice from talking before the set. Whew! I had fun though.
