MELISSA IS PROUD TO BE A MEMBER OF
Sounds Like
Been compared to: Patsy Cline, Patty Loveless, Terri Clark, Tanya Tucker, Martina McBride but has a sound all her own.
Melissa has been singing since age 2 . She was an international star at an early age. Her Mother & Aunt sent voice recordings of her to her Uncle who was stationed overseas. He and his fellow soldiers looked forward to mail call when the tapes would arrive.
At age 13, country great Don Williams heard a tape of her singing and got an audition for her at the Grand Ole Opry. Her Father was killed in a car accident by a drunk driver, it also caused her mother to become withdrawn and have a nervous breakdown. She felt her place wasn't in the spotlight it was with her family & her Mother. Her Grandmother convinced her to continue to do the one thing she loved the most and that was perform!
She returned to her Grandfathers band, The Varieteers, and performed for many outings with them, that included fairs & festivals. She would watch from the sidelines as the people danced and had a wonderful time listening to them perform. When she was announced to come on stage and would perform her rendition of the great Patsy Cline's Crazy or I Fall To Pieces people would stop dancing and just watch her sing. In the beginning it would make the young perfomer a little nervous. She finally realized that any song she would perform no matter where she performed the audience would stop dancing and listen with rapt attention and when a song would end they would break out in thunderous applause.
She recently sent a demo to Vision Music Group, from there it was non stop, they recognized her talent and wanted her to come to Nashville to record two singles.
It's all starting here! Melissa wants to build a tremendous fan following! She also believes that lightning will strike twice with her singing career! She will truly make that long hard road to stardom and knows it starts with her fans! Melissa would like to dedicate this page to her Grandma & Mom, without them this would never have been possible!

I know that many artists from North America don't have their music videos uploaded to German video websites. The most popular websites are MyVideo.de and ClipFish.de. That means your European audience does not have the chance to find them.
I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.
Thanks
