About me:

I've been involved with photography since I was a sophomore in high school. Spending every spare moment I could in the dark room, I found it to be peaceful & exhilarating at the same time. Once I became a mother I wanted to document my children's lives, and capture those special moments that seem to flee by so quickly. That is how a part time pleasure became my passion! Friends & family saw my work and wanted me to do the same for them.. before I knew it Melissa Kosswig Photography was born and I've adored every minute of it! :) I love people, and I love being able to photograph their most special and sacred memories. The things that make us unique - our little quirks, whimsicalities & personalities, are what makes photographing others so much fun. Its those things I try to encompass in each photo I take.

I am an all-inclusive lifestyle and portraiture photographer based in Farmington, CT [Hartford County]. I service all over New England & am also available for travel worldwide. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions :) Thank you!
