Am I an extrovert, because I'm outgoing? Or is that, too, a cover-up for the smallness of my inner child?

Or am I saying what I believe our society today expects to hear?

Am I not liked, because I let the world walk over me? Or is it because I'm not the bi*** people expect me to be? Even though I try....

Am I too selfish, because I take more than I should without thinking? Or am I too giving because the world has more of me than I do?

Am I a victim of my own mind, as people love to tell me repeatedly? Or am I a witness of the world's eager willingness to stand on the side and WATCH people suffer?

Am I that small girl that still yearns to be a child, yearns for the days of oblivion to what pain of the heart really meant...? That small girl who did not know betrayal even when it was smacked in her face....?

Or am I the woman of awareness and growth, where her innocence is gone along with the trust of the world...? That woman of strength with limits still unknown, fighting to see the glimpse of hope that love, true beauty, and "good" still exists...?

Am I a different person, now that my opinions differ from the little girl of ten years ago?? Was THAT me, or is THIS me?
