Alexander Clarke trained in both classical and jazz piano in England and the USA. His composition draws from music from the baroque period up to contemporary minimalism. His most recent music is inspired by the profound landscape of the English Lake District and the Cumbrian coast. Some of his pieces are like short musical sketches, such as Helvellyn in the Mist, while others are extended musical journeys, with evolving melodies and harmony....
