Finland
“Tantric Love”
This is the pick that most everyone will hate, but I dig the bizarre culture clash of young Finns channeling psychedelic-era Beatles, and ending up as a Scandinavian version of the Lightning Seeds.
The guitar-lite instrumentation is appropriately spacey—check out the wah spittle buried in the mix—and the track is a feel-good riot.
Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
A while ago I came across some stuff that inspired me to make this film:
Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though source materials are quite aged, the fundamentals are still relevant today.

Hi and many thanks for the add from the world's smallest prog/psych label - Fruit de Mer Records. Hope you and your friends enjoy our new (ok, our only) single - Small Faces' Ogden's meets Van der Graaf Generator's Theme One - playing now at www. myspace. com/fdmer & www. myspace. com/fdmer2 (for full stereo effect). Views, reviews, ideas for future releases all gratefully received, not to mention the odd order - we've only pressed up 300 on cool green vinyl, and we're getting some great reviews (well, we think they're great anyway)
