I'm Mel, Bristolian with Irish ancestry and proud of both!
My first love in life is music-i love & cherish my singing & also dance my behind off anytime i get the chance. My second love in life being of rugby. Grew up watching Clifton Ladies RFC but been following Bristol RFC (ex-Shoguns) since i was 12. I got involved when we hit relegation & been on the steering committee for the BRIS Trust since i was 17 (voluntary). I am now a Healthcare Assistant in Theatres with the NHS and training to be a Scrub Nurse, but still figuring out where i want to go in life. My ambitious side has grown a lot & i have a list of things i really want to do - starting with surf school and a music group i joined this year, whilst still in hopes of setting up a band, of which i'd be lead singer.... hoping to do more of what i love. I'm a bit of a quirky rock chick, am dubbed 'alternative' ALL the time... just as i am who i am, no hidden agenda. I also want to get more travel in, see the world and experience different cultures and foods. I'm very creatively mad as a hatter apparently, but i balance it well with using my common sense & being sensible when i need to be, i don't suffer fools. I sing, dance and write as an outlet. Other than that, i love kids, animals, vw camper vans, motorbikes, american indian stuff, the paranormal, emo fairies, everything purple & have a habit of collecting 'stuff' lol
