Alot of people get on me because in there oppinion, she can't sing, or maybe because I'ma dude and I love her too much musically, or what ever. Some people even go as far as to say, TOO raspy, or what ever there issue might be. ***in reality I really don't care what those haters say because those are the ones that secretly love her . . if they didn't really care too much for her in the first place they wouldn't spend time talking bout her period*** But MY truth::: Brandy is in a whole other world, entirely. Her voice is beautiful, and angelic. Her melodies are so MELODIC. She's just a beautiful person. I've been down with Brandy since her debut album BRANDY! I love this woman whole heartedly. She means sooooo much to me it's not even funny. She's such an inspiration. If you havent heard already she's doing big things this fourth quarter. October 26th in Wilmington, DE. a prodigy was introduced to the world. Melodic (Justin) was always embraced by whoever he came across. Growing up he had many friends but chose to be alone, locked away in his room where he would write his poetry. Melodic always had a love for the art of writing; whether it was short stories, poetry, scripts, or just him jotting down notes or thoughts. He could always be found walking around with a pen and a note pad. Some might assume growing up in a home with both a mother and a father is some what ideal, and that everything would be perfect. This was certainly not the case for young Melodic, as he had to deal with mental abuse that would lower his self esteem. However things got better with time. It wasn't until he had turned 12 that things began to really seem bright. For that was the year Melodic found his voice. Although he spent enormous amount of time hanging with friends on the streets in his neighborhood, he didn't take singing seriously until he was recognized at school and asked to be in the schools "end of the year" talent show. He took on a couple of names as he developed his craft, but there was always one comment people made about his music that stuck out to him, and that was how melodic his voice was. So the name "Melodic" seemed to suite him very well. When asked about his musical influence three industry names always pop up. The first is Stevie Wonder; for his charisma, strength and passion for his craft. The second is Usher Raymond; for his vocal range. Finally, the third is Brandy Norwood; for her angelic voice, vocal ability, and recording technique. Those three artists seem to have crafted Melodic into this strong force. Since then, he has had a few producers/managers who have all been a great influence in his life one way or another. They gave him insight into the world of music business, they helped him grow as a performer, and most of all they showed him how cruel this industry can be. Melodic has had his own music rights ripped from right under him, and from people he thought he could trust. Yet, this has not made him bitter, nor destroyed his dream. Those experiences have made him strive for more, to never settle, to keep pushing on, to keep believing, and to prove how bad he truly wants this. Besides performing at talent shows (while he was in school), and school functions, He has had the opportunity to perform at U of D Ceremony's, Birthday Parties, Wedding's, Churches, Local clubs and has been featured in numerous Broadway talent competitions. If he had to compare his style to some one in the industry today, he would say Colby O. and Trey songs. Melodic, will continue to make music until he can breathe no more. Nothing can stop this young man from success. He is destined for greatness, and this is only the beginning.
