I Melodieva sono nati nel 2007 a Sanremo dalle ceneri dei Raved (gruppo crossover) e sono composti da Ema (chitarra) e Vince (voce).
All’inizio del 2008 la band si arricchisce di altri 4 elementi: Carloi alla batteria, Yari al basso, Davide alla chitarra ritmica e solista, e Roberto Ferrua, curatore artistico, info web e grafica delle varie cover.
La loro musica è un rock di stampo americano con testi in italiano.
I primi brani sono interessanti e diretti, ma risultano ancora un po’ troppo duri per le radio di casa nostra.
Con l’arrivo del nuovo batterista (Carlo) partecipano al concorso live ‘Sanremo rock 2008’ e, dopo aver stabilizzato la formazione con Yari (basso) e Davide (chitarra), la band smussa gli angoli.
La proposta attuale è un rock pop italiano con sonorità contrastanti, dolci ma dirette, accompagnate da cantati melodici e incisivi. I testi parlano di esperienze personali nell’intricato mondo dei sentimenti, amori persi, amori ritrovati, gioie, dolori, passioni e paure.
Ragazzi con un cuore vero, impegnati a realizzare un sogno “qui nella nostra piccola provincia”, ma puntando sempre più in alto, con un linguaggio musicale particolare, ma semplice allo stesso tempo, stile sempre rock ma al passo con i tempi moderni...
The Melodievas were born in 2007 to Sanremo from the ashes of the Raveds (crossover band) and I are composed from Ema (guitar) and it Vince (voice). To the beginning of 2008 the band becomes wealthy of other 4 elements: Carlo to the battery, Yari to the lower part, Davide to the rhythmic and solist guitar and Roberto Ferrua, artistic administrator, info web and graphics of the various covers.
Their music is a rock of American die with texts in Italian. The first passages are interesting and direct, but they still result some too much hard for the radios of our house. With the arrival of the new drummer (Carlo) they participate in the contest live 'Sanremo rock 2008' and, after having stabilized the formation with Yari (bass) and Davide (guitar), the band it bevels the angles.
The actual proposal is an Italian pop rock with conflicting sonority, sweets but direct, accompanied from sung melodic and incisive. The texts speak of personal experiences to the tangled world of the feelings, lost loves, found again loves, joys, pains, passions and fears. Boys with a true heart, busy to realize a dream "here in our small province", but aiming aloft more and more, with a particular musical language, but simple at the same time, style always rock but to the footstep with the modern times...
