Music
Movies
Man... Old School Star Wars of course, I remember standing in line with pops when I was 5. Anything with Al Pacino in it. Will Ferrell makes me giggle my ass off. Love Serenity... cool sci-fi, Pi, Young Frankenstein was my first drive-in movie- I was maybe 3? But I still remember it.
Television
HA! Haven't owned one in 2 years. But if I were to choose, it would either have to be Battlestar Galactica or The Gong Show. :) Or Fox news... they've always got the best stories- or should I say, the tallest tales.
Books
Anything by Asimov, especially the "Foundation" series... Best Sci-Fi ever! Anything on Grand Unification Theories, String Theory, and the study of Physics- A Beautiful Universe is an amazing book. Many books on musicians and scientists. And books with lots of pictures in them.
Heroes
My Family and friends. Miles, Hendrix, Zappa, Stravinsky, Einstein, and my multi-variable calculus teacher.
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone who loves good music- and anyone who can help me figure out how in the hell to get my music into television and film!

It is MUCH more harder to learn "scales" on the guitar by fingerboard patterns and such. Its harder to memorize. Im finding its much easier to learn them with the theory i have learned, you still have to memorize shit but its less often that you have to. Were getting into minor scales at the moment, teachers a good teacher but shes so anal about everything, haha.
hey man, long time no talk. just would like to thank you for showing me what you showed me for the brief period i took lessons from you. I remember you tried teaching me music theory on the piano for a second and i just couldnt get a grasp of it. haha. Ive been taking a course at santa monica college and its really interesting stuff, although i use to see it as boring. Havent played guitar in about 5 months though, have a feeling once i start again ill be full of all sorts of ideas.
Tomorrow is our big show at the Roxy Theatre and we are extremely excited! If you still haven't bought your ticket what are you waiting for?! You can buy them from any ATR band member for $12 a pop.
The show begins at 7:30pm with us hitting the stage at 9:00pm.
Also we have a very special guest joining us for our last song and we can't wait to have her rock out the stage with us.
Get ready for an amazing show, who knows what tricks we have up our sleeves.
