driven then her primary noted ministry as a Prophetic Psalmist and Worship
Leader. A calculated risk that she was well aware may not work for
everyone accustomed to hearing her ministry in only that
dimension. However, she states, " I believe it is time for the gospel
community and the church at large to embrace all styles of God's music if we
plan to reach everyone with His message!" The Apostle Paul says in I Corinthians 9:22 that he himself
became all things to all men in order to save some... this is the hope &
purpose of Melody's 10 year music journey and labor of love called, THE REASON!
The Reason, also written and co-produced by Melody, features
music production from Sam Kendrick of the Stellar Award nominated group, "7 Sons of Soul" and Kenny Lattimore fame,
and international producer, Steve "Keyz" Ebhodaghe. Melody's songs are written from a very personal
place ... It is from this place that her sincere and tremendous passion & raw emotion can be heard & felt in
every song she sings.
Indeed, she knows the purpose & the reason for the ministry within... "I know that a major portion
of my assignment on earth is to bring the message of Christ's love, hope, and power to save, set
free, & deliver to the non-believer & believer alike... to those who may be securely planted, the

hear!... I am not only called to go, but to carry the anointing for worship, praise, psalms,
hymns, & spiritual songs in music styles & genres that can be received by ALL!"

legends and innovators such as, Mahalia Jackson, Natalie Cole, and Ella Fitzgerald.
