Gospel singer/songwriter Melody Jackson passion is to fulfill God's purpose and plan for her life. This message is demonstrated in her music ministry. She has discovered and accepted God's will for her life and is determined to walk in her destiny. Melody is open and willing to minister wherever it takes her. Her vocal range and ability afforded her to minister to broader audiences throughout the United States.
Melody's ministry has been sought out because of her devotion to Jesus Christ, a genuine desire and passion to minister and her ability to share the love of Christ through song.
Born in Indiana, Melody is the youngest of three sisters'. Christian parents guided her solid Christian background. At an early age she began singing and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.
Melody has rendered vocal support for Christian artists including, Rance Allen, Crystal Murden, Clifton Davis and Albertina Walker. Melody has also provided background vocals for celebrated Christian artists including, Phil Driscol, Larnell Harris, CeCe Winans and Point of Grace. Melody has also made several guest solo appearances on various television networks across the United States including Trinity Broadcast Network (TBN) .
In 1996, she touched the hearts of thousands during the national rally, "Washington For Jesus" where she was a featured soloist along with her church choir. Melody served as Worship Leader for churches in Indiana and Illinois and has ministered throughout the United States at various churches and retreats.
Melody has completed 2 CD's and is in the process of completing her first original CD scheduled to be released in the near future.
Melody is a dedicated member of Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas where Joel and Victoria Osteen are the senior pastors. She is also the devoted mother of two wonderful sons Justin and Jonathan.
