Melody Nelson have earned the tag of London’s loudest band. This may well be true but the sonically overwhelming sound of Melody Nelson is cultivated through unbridled energy and passion for the music they make.
The power trio are inspired by sonic pioneers Love, Muddy Waters,Serge Gainsbourg and repeated listens to garage rock and psychedelia collection Nuggets. Formed in London’s East End by Irish-Jamaican-Londoner Aidan O’Connell,25 (Vocals and Guitar) Marco Argenton, 24 (Bass) and Israeli drumming powerhouse Kapi , 27(Drums).
The trio have been busy trail blazing throughout the UK and Europe with their incendiary live show. On the back of numerous blistering headline performances they have recently opened for Peter Doherty and Seasick Steve.
Melody Nelson bring you feedback-drenched anthems about love, loss and confusion hard intensely and at a suitably high volume
