I had a great weekend...lots of fun! Funny how you drive four hours and end up around the campfire with people from your own town...lol!! Yep, we were right next door to a group of family and friends from here...but that made the weekend very exciting!! I saw a girl I went to high school with...last time I saw her was grade 10 as he moved west to Calgary so that was a pleasant surprise! She still looked the same to me and my last words to her as we left the party..."See you in another 40 years!" lol. I forgot my camera at the cottage and wouldnt walk back in the dark to get it...lol. I know I heard a bear on the first night snorting away outside the cottage...but of course nobody believed me!! Kinda like the story about the bat in the house!! Wondering why I always need to prove my case!! lol..

It's nice to see you again! Planning my next trip...a mini vacation to the most beautiful part of Ontario. (Well that is my opinion) Going to visit Bobby Orr in Parry Sound...lol. (For those who don't know Bobby Orr he was a defenseman for the Boston Bruins)

Tomorrow I am leaving for "Old" Quebec City, a city in my country that I have wanted to see for some time now!! By the time I arrive I'm sure that I will have a very sore butt!! (10 hour drive) Garmon better not make any mistakes...haha! At this time of year the colour should keep me amused while travelling.
I am taking my lap top so I wont be a total stranger but I do plan on getting the most I can out of this trip! Old Quebec is rich with history and I plan on going back in time, just as if I was in the classroom only this time I will have the story in front of eyes and not out of a text book!!
