    i don't often rank it as my all-time fave film for no reason......paulette godard lights up that screen with early-magic
    and every sound and movement so beautifully choreographed by chaplin himself.

    it really is a perfect movie for our times......i mean seriously....sweeping the dirt-floor so as to make a shack a home!....
    and being in love with life....through all the hardship struggle pain and nonsense! now that is ART~
