well i think it depends of what style im singing; i guess a mixture of rnb/pop/soul. Its music..its my mood, my feelings, my passion, my love!
Where shall I begin...Music is my life...its the first thing I do when I wake and the last thing I do before I go to sleep....well actually I’ve been told I sing in my sleep...(it really wouldn’t surprise me if that was true).
I come from a very musical background; everyone in my family can sing which is great! I didn’t always want to be a singer I actually fell into it by accident. I was 11years old and the whole school had to gather in the hall where our Head teacher was making us rehears for the Christmas play that was going to take place...I however was simply doing my own thing and talking away to those around me. Sure enough she shouted my name out and everyone laughed, then she told me to stand up and said I should sing silent night by my self (how ironic...being silent was the one thing I couldn’t do!) anyway...what should have been embarrassing paved the way for what I now call a blessing. It earned me the name 'Lady Vocal' and for that experience I will be for ever grateful.
I would also like to give a shout out to my boys' The LINCS Crew' who took me under their wings since 2001, they did the rapping and i gave them the killer hooks..LOL, no seriously though...Chi, Riley, Ewan, Geoff, Silky & Ben...im your girl for life!!!
I am currently embarking on a music career as a solo singer/songwriter. To want something so bad…to dream about it so much…I just want to sing! But to be honest the opportunity to work in the music industry its self, would be a blessing. I write my own material and create my own melodies, I think my worst habit is that I seem to find harmonies to every song, sometimes I don’t even realize i'm doing it...I blame my mum she's a bad influence on me (ha-ha-ha) to me; she's the queen of Harmonies- she really is my role model.
I am an honest, loyal and fair person and I value everyone equally. I love to laugh, meet new people, read, watch films, travel and I am very passionate about anything involving music. To describe me would be to say ‘I am that I am’ I have always been and will never change.

Hey! Sorry for the lateness. I just checked Something Like with Geo on here! I ain't heard that in a while!! Makes me wanna go and listen to The Four Chapters again!! Hehe. That song was sick! You both did good on that! I think Geo had the strongest songs on Four Chapters, then J then me. Also checked your Rock The Boat! You did an amazing job! And over Biggie's beat instead which was a surprise! You did good on that and put your soul in it!
Thanks, yeah we're looking at beats at the moment and coming up with concepts. You know Mic Rippers always come up with the crazy concept songs! Haha. I been trying to write more myself lately but I'm not feeling so creative these days more and more. I'ma get back on it with a vengeance soon though! RAAARRGGHH. lol. And yeah, when I'm on it I'll hit you up with a collabo idea! And you do the same with me if you think I may fit anything. And thats cool about the analysis. I always appreciate that cos I always give it. And yeah, if your music is sounding that good in the rough draft I'm excited to hear the full 1s!!
Yo!! Just managed to sit down and check the tracks. But 1st of all, yeah I speak to JD and Geo every now and then. Mic Rippers are hopefully on a comeback project doing the next chapter (but sshhh its a secret - whoops this is a public comment screw it haha). I see you still doing your thing proper! I checked all 3 tracks and I am liking what I hear!! I knew I would anyway, cos your voice is always so soulful and soothing (even when you angry haha)! I think my favourite track all in all is Gone. But they all dope! Nice concepts! Nice beats, very funky! Especially the wah wah guitar on Some Time! But 1st, Scared is an interesting concept on the song! I like how you work with that and living up to your new name, you got the melodies down pat! Only thing I would say is, maybe have that guitar solo at the end come in after you've finished singing to fade it out, cos at the moment it kinda clashes with the mood. But no fault, just stating (cos your music is way better than mine!). But I like that track and the hook is good! You bring everything together on Gone! As I say you work with that track real good and its my favourite! And I am feeling Some Time! I like how you kick in and go for it after the instrumental bridge in the middle! I do think you need to take it to chuuuch a little more with the vocals cos I know you can!! But all in all, very professional and great to listen to! I was bobbing my head all the while! Need to check em again! But yeah, you definitely moving yourself forward! We should do a collabo at some point! If you interested I shall look in to it!!
