We are progressive rock band 'Melogress' in Japan.
Current memers are Satomi (drums), Itaru (keyboards) and Ryu (bass guitar).
'Melogress' has no guitarists.
Instead of distorted guitar sounds, we adopt various synthesizer sounds.
'Melogress' was unioned by Itaru, Ryu, Junji (drums) and Seede (vocals) in 2004, and made and played some progressive rock tunes.
We performed at some clubs with live music in Tokyo.
'Melogress' recorded first album 'Odyssey' and released it in August of 2006, and perfored the release gig at 'Silver elephant' where is a club and a mecca of Japanese prog rock.
However, after this gig, drummer Junji and singer Seede left from the band.
Satomi, who is a lady drummer, joined 'Melogress' in August of 2007, so current line-up is completed, but the band needs a new singer, so we are now searching for new singer.

To tell the truth, prog rock is not so popular in Japan nowadays. However, we love that kind of music especially 70's ones. So we are very influenced by those kind of musics as you can feel it when you read our profiles.
