The 4 piece from Bristol are continuously striving to break new grounds and create their own trademark sound. The style has been given the new genre of "hardcore indie" by the bands fans. This sound can be described as a driving rhythm section of strong, prominent basslines and pounding, up tempo drum beats, forming a strong platform for the heavy, grinding riffs and melodies of the guitar combined with catchy and powerful vocals. The musical progression can be seen from their debut release of the acclaimed "Time" EP, to the 2007 release of the "Kinetics" EP. MelonFarmers live performances have also always received much praise by audiences and critics, due to the bands musical talents, stage prescence, relentless enthusiasm and unlimited energy.
