the music you listen to while you are here was played and recorded first take, in less than an hour, on a beat up 70's version of the cheapest playable guitar on the planet... a Hohner 3/4 size student model that retails today at the ridiculously low price of £43.99... This was to prove like Mance Lipscombe once did, it ain't the guitar but the heart and the hands that play it... It's a little rough around the edges and there are some nasty buzzes to be heard and a few bum notes, but i feel it captures what it is that i do(stomping the blues away), and it also adds to the rawness of the music... as i said it's a 33year old guitar, made out of plywood that's seen more action than i have... and that's saying something... It has two soundholes one in the usual place and the other courtesy of a wayward hoover in 86... it's floated down rivers, been up mountains, although i've been informed since that they were only hills, ha ha... and was trodden on by paramilitary policemen with jackboots on, 5 days before these recordings actually took place... it was that more than any of the other tribulations it had faced in it's long life, that did the most damage... So thank you all kindly you drugged up morons... You were in my thoughts as i was playing it... I have picked myself up with dignity and carried on regardless for the last 21years and i dont see that changing... I have used the sadness created in me by my sorry assed life, as a vehicle for change... turning all that sadness and anger into beautiful music that now enriches lives... Just as the Bluesmen of old had to do, there is no other way... All other roads have tombstones at their end... And i personally like Life... I have been, done, and seen it all, got the T-shirt, worn it out and got others... There is little that shocks me any longer save for the shameful way society appears to have frozen solid, like some frightened animal caught in the headlights of an oncoming car... As it watches seemingly without care, as our leaders play cheap games and political point scoring with the lives of millions... As they create enemies out of all castes creeds and colours, sending us tumbling headlong toward Armageddon... A war without end... That would leave millions dead and millions more destitute and starving to death... I have been destitute and starving before and it ain't pretty, i can tell you... There'd be no victors, nor could there ever be... the only losers are us, the people of this world, of all castes creeds, colours, nations and religions... All are gods children, we all bleed and cry, just like you and i... Yet you sit there, all of you, night after night watching the news and doing nothing to stop it... I truly love playing early Blues and Ragtime guitar on the streets, bringing the melodies of the oppressed and beaten down into the General Public's world and improving my slide guitar work while i'm at it... My other loves are Mother Natures finest, truth, human rights, animal rights, long walks in the Countryside, especially along Riverbanks as these carry the life blood of the planet... writing Songs/Poetry/my thoughts, and living as naturally as poss in an increasingly false and seemingly evermore shallow and two faced world... I had a passion for Guitar building as i used to enjoy it immensely as it used to be my full time occupation until a bad back injury forced me to give it up... It was the only job i've ever truly loved... My love now is waking people from their slumber by spilling Conspiracy Facts, or as i heard them recently called "Conspiracy Co-Incidences" ha ha... Nice one... I'd like to think we are all a little too mature to believe in the co-incidence fairy now, surely, aren't we..? We have minds that work now don't we?? Once, twice, three, four times you can call it co-incidence maybe, but after that it starts to become a different matter... And with each further "co-incidence" it becomes ever more the realm of make believe... Until such time that only a fool would deny it, or any possibility of behind the scenes manipulation, of a similar to the kind we see around us daily... ahh don't worry it's just big business out to make a quick buck out of us and rip us off... If you think there isn't even the slightest possibility that there could be financial interest in manipulating a free spending population, then you are either extremely naive, dumb beyond belief, or part of the cover-up...ha ha... Either way you are too out of touch to be reached and i hope you enjoy the ride... it's gonna get real bumpy for you, as it will for us all... In these people, the fact they already have Mental Health problems, means they should also steer clear of All other recreational substances full stop...and also some foods, that can also be shown to trigger the effects of their condition... I've heard also that it could also be triggered by alcohol, but i don't really know about that one... I mean you dont see people out of their minds at all because of drink of a weekend Do Ya?! Wake Up Eh... Of course it's seriously exacerbated by Alcohol, in fact by many, many other drugs... You are the sum total of all that you do after all... so if you apply this logic, then what i am trying to break to you as gently as is possible, may not shock you as it may have 10 minutes ago... Meaning that you should be in a more balanced mindset to be able to figure out the consequences and implications of the long term planning that has been invested in this manufactured and design specific outrage against humanity... All Acoustic Guitar, (if well played)... All kinds of Early Country Blues(ie.before amplification) styles like Delta Blues, Hillbilly Mountain Music, Primal Blues, Ragtime(Early Jazz), Stomp Time Piano... Drum and Bass, Hip Hop, Gangster Rap, If it,s groovy and has a message, i like it, thats the general rule... I'm not a lover of rules as you might have guessed... An out of control Tyrannical Global Leadership that seem to have lost a grasp of reality and no longer value peaceful means by which to settle disputes and would sooner inflame already tense situations just to stamp their authority on another sovereign state, even at the risk of beginning WW 3... Mother Earth wants all her children to stand up tall and be strong, just like any mother would, and to stand up to the playground bully, because that's the only way bullies learn... Heroes, that's a funny one as there are many reasons people stand out as heroes... And in my eyes you have to be Special to be awarded that title... Especially as there are way too many half talented people nowadays touted as heroes, when in fact they are little more than overblown egos with too much attention and way too much celebrity... Bought for them by systematic promotion... The general public's perception of heroism is misplaced in many a case... having been replaced by misguided and unwarranted worship of the false status that media coverage seems to buy nowadays, way out of kilter with true hero status in my view... Now don't get me wrong, i'm not saying celebrity is a bad thing but people have to start being more realistic... It is too easy for agents and managers to throw money at advertising campaigns and in doing so bring the people they want to raise the staus of, into prominence... In effect buying a place in the publics heart, lives and conciousness... A cheap trick and one that anyone with the resources, financial or contact wise could do... If anything they should have seen through this scam immediately, but the wannabee culture has gotten way out of control and is clouding their judgement... And like a lot of the things in this world become an exageration of reality... We can't all be famous, 15 minutes is about the best we can hope for, ha ha... To be a true hero, in my eyes you have to be or do something no-one else will, would, could, should or ever has done, or give of yourself completely for another and for no reward... Reward tends to encourage and encouragement shouldnt be needed with heroism... it is there from the start with the real ones... My biggest hero is Ghandi... I will have to think about this list some more, as it is a biggy that status... for now i'll say anyone who through their own ability and nothing more, can make a passer-by on the street stop and take notice, and enrich their life in some magical way... DANCE CULTURE??

Welcome people, here you will find examples of all kinds of dance music, dancing and social and cultural history... Charting the free expression of people's inbuilt natural tendency to respond with movement, to the syncopated rythyms and beat's that they find within or around themselves... Very much to the annoyance of the ruling classes, who regarded this Public show of emotion, as beneath them... (in the late 1800's it would have brought shame on a white woman's family, if she had shown the lack of grace to have tapped her foot to music in Public)... We are talking just over a 100 years ago here, so it's come a long way in a short time really... This led to a fear based reaction, as its popularity began to spread like wildfire, it became frowned upon in true Victorian style... The release of the first "Jass" record, recorded in 1926 by, i might add, a racist... Who told the group of Coloured Musicians he was about to record, that this was their only chance, and warned them that "when the needle had cut to the end of the wax they wouldnt be getting another chance"... They had a huddle and decided to play the piece at twice the speed to make sure they got it all down and didn't blow their one chance... The resulting Catchy Syncopated sound swept the nation as the record sold in its millions... "Ragtime" was born... A music once so feared, it was reported by the press of the day as - "a disease, that the only known cure for, is a bullet to the head", no joke folks, this was the mentality of the established order in the late 1800's right through until the Thirties when they tried to do something about this Perceived Public Menace called dancing, in Law... By maligning the one common factor noticed to be present usually, wherever it was heard... Thought of also to be the cause of the widespread problem of Insolent Behaviour... Which appeared as if it were being aggravated by and was connected to, the new Musical Form it was found together with... At the time, this Insolent Behaviour consisted, for a Black Man - of standing on a white mans shadow, looking directly at a white man as he was talking to you, looking a white woman in the eyes, speaking to a white person before being spoken to first and so on and so on... All pathetic and racist laws in their own right... Not altering the fact that this type of Insolence bought you a hanging in Law back then... In the press the music associated with this behaviour was commonly referred to as "Insolent Noise"... It was called this because nearly everywhere it was heard the people would generally and openly flout the ridiculous and racist laws of the day... By doing nothing more than standing on street corners treading on peoples shadows as they walked by... In the early days this insolence was usually confined to areas around or outside the "Jass" Houses, given their name because of the Jasmine perfume the prostitutes wore... This was later to be the name given to this Musical Form of expression... The reason being, that it developed within the walls of these Houses of ill repute... The result of the Entertainer/Pianist having spy holes that he used, to watch and play along to the cavorting of the Prostitutes and customers... These Pianists quickly became very proficient and used to gather together after "work" to have cuttin' contests where they would try to outdo each other Musically... The associated free thinking and expression through Dance and Music of these Musicians made them easygoing and confident... A very attractive yet ultimately dangerous proposition to the white women of the day... This along with the claims of rape, heavily reported on in the press when the resulting coloured babies were born... fueling yet more Public fears and Outrage and creating even more Racism and yet further division of Society... This combined with the hysteria created in the national Press by films like "reefer madness" and the dis-information and lies given to "con" the Supreme Court Judges into passing Laws to control the this scourge of Society... By persons not just related to, but with a personal vested interest (in the Oil, Paper and Pharmaceutical industries), both Economically and Financially in seeing certain Laws being passed... These Laws then created a dangerous Economic over reliance on the Petrochemical Industry, instead of the re-emerging Industries of the day... Which also had less of a cost to the Environment... The consequence of which we now see nightly on our TV screens... It was fully known about, understood and expected even back then... I believe that this didn't just lead right up to the present day problems we as a World now face... But that in effect, this policy of over reliance on Oil is the actual cause of our many faceted problems we as a race are facing today... Both Culturally, Morally, Economically Socially, Environmentally and Health wise... In truth it's a sad and sorry consequence of our misplaced trust, in our fellow man, to govern us Justly and Sensibly in our name... All of it stems from Racism... All of it... But like all Dark Clouds, this one's Silver Lining is the Musical Freedom borne of it, and all the Free Thinking it creates still... If any of these facts bother you, then research them... Because this is the Truth you have to eventually come to terms with and face... Just as Coloured People have had to come to terms with the fact, that it was Coloured People working for profit... That rounded up their Brothers and sold them into Slavery in the first place... The Truth is the Truth when all is said and done, as unpalatable or unsavoury as that appears... It has no Colour or Creed it just is... It's up to you what you do with your individual lives and the Truth's you come to know... Hiya folks, I'm a 43 year old Jebus Look-a-like (Homer-ism) ha ha... I'm a long time Vegetarian, I will deny not one form its right to life. I am the modern day equivalent of the kind of rebellious Ne'r-do-well's and street musician's that in the late 1800's/early 1900's became the Originators of a Style of Music we now label as Pre-War Blues or more accurately, just plain old Country Blues... They were also sometimes known as Hot Jazz players, some were known as Vipers because of their association with and use of "Hemp Useful AKA Cannabis Sativa". Which they used for it's Time Distorting effects, (according to Gene Krupa and Myself at least). Enabling myself and them to easily fit in extra notes or leave them out affecting the time signature and feel of the Music they played. In truth Music is created not by the notes you play but by the gaps you leave between them... Their Legacy was their Music !! It's melodies / vocal styling and Syncopations went on to Influence ALL the Musical Genres that have followed... Even including their own as it actually evolved... I am a street Musician, an old style Guitar Tutor and performing solo artist... Who for the past 20 months has had his career as a Musician de-railed and almost ruined... Every single one of my guitars were needlessly damaged by moronic police officers using disrespectful and inconsiderate bully boy tactics during a raid on my home looking for the Public Enemy No.1 "The Herb" I am at Present awaiting sentence by the Corrupt British Legal System, who are using knowingly fraudulent and illegal Act's to prosecute myself and many other good people like me... That is how crazy it's gotten, the Government wont even listen to it's own experts, and even states the opposite findings as facts... this is a glaring case of a disgraceful waste of public funds... Including wasted police man hours when they could be solving victim crimes, as opposed to victimless crimes like this... The only victim in this is Me and those like me!! What the hell is the point of employing the country's top experts in their respective fields, to do a job they are very highly skilled and experienced at and also very well paid to do, if they are gonna take no notice?? Actually going AGAINST their expert advice and ignoring completely the advice given by them... That it is in fact a Harmless substance with many positive health benefits, to a great many sufferers of some very serious and in some cases life threatening diseases... This doesn't just smack of incompetence, it is plain downright negligence and abuse of power, of the highest order... If this was to happen in any other business in the world the whole of the board would be sacked on the spot... But because the media are in their pockets and refusing to report the true Findings Of Fact, the Truth about this remains buried under a pack of cowardly lies... This is an absolutely disgraceful state of affairs... For any paid Public Servants to be committing a known fraud(crime) and for there to be no willful means, by which to bring them to account for their misdameanors... This is, and make no mistake, a crime of astronomical proportions being perpetrated against the better interests of the British Public... This will mean that large groups of people with curable diseases people will go to their graves instead of being treated and returning to beneficial employ... While Cannabis remains on the Class B schedule of dangerous drugs no more research can LAWFULLY be carried out to ascertain whether there is any benefit to society from it's inclusion in medical treatment... This despite thousands of years of anecdotal safe use amongst nearly every population, culture and continent in this world... As It stands now it is Re-Classified B (a substance of no medicinal value) ?? WHAT SORT OF A SICK JOKE IS THIS? PLAYED ON THOSE NOT IN A POSITION TO BE HUMOURED... WE ARE TALKING ABOUT WITHHOLDING PEOPLES MEDICINES HERE... I like the majority of self medicators can't afford to pay the inflated street prices caused by the Governments needless and ongoing witch-hunt... and i am suffering accordingly, becoming a burden upon the state once more... as my symptoms become worse and my condition degenerates... This shouldn't be allowed to happen but it is doing... I am disabled for Gods sake... They knew the truth 20 years ago!! The proof has been put before these suited up No-Marks, many many times... The case for Cannabis' complete and utter safety and many and varied benefits has been made... Yet the Government ignores it... and i and others are suffering accordingly, becoming a burden upon the state, yet they ignore our plight... And ignoring the views of countless people, who know their own bodies and minds as i do, much better than an out of touch, negligent, deaf and Inconsiderate Protectorate... I hold naturalness to be a virtue, in all the things i do or enjoy :) music, food, expression, interactions, relationships, conversations and living of course... I truly believe that life can and will only get better for us all, when we learn to fully respect the earth and ALL those upon it... Animals, Fish and Mammals included, because we are all part of a vast chain... And if in our irresponsible actions we damage any link in that chain suffering is visited upon us all... When we begin to rely less upon the products that do the Earth and our fellow man harm, through choosing wisely and with consideration when we shop... Using consumerism (which is the fastest vehicle for change we have)... we will eventually force a change in the methods used in the name of profit, by companies who quite plainly do not care... About us, our future, or this Planet... And i'll tell you how i know this... A few years ago me and a mate went into Sainsburys superstore and asked why they had no Hemp Oil, we took it in turns to go in and ask different store representatives and managers, over the space of a week... After much searching the shelves to no avail they stocked it... The first lot didn't sell too well and we ended up buying 10 of the 16 bottles at a knockdown price, and as soon as we had we did the same again and now they stock 68 hemp products and more every week... They will sell us whatever we want to buy... So make a point of buying one Hemp product a week and make a difference... Tesco's own brand is called GOOD OIL in big letters on the bottle, not organic but they also begrudgingly now stock that also.... ha ha... Now they sell out without our help... Hoorah for me and Kenny... When we begin treating nature to this kind of respect, who knows, we may just find it might forgive us for what we've done already... After all, it is what sustains us... and it has to continue to do so, for all our childrens sakes... They do say - That you don't know what you've got til it's gone... Lets just hope it doesn't have to go that far... Surely as a race, we are intelligent enough to be able to see this? If not, then it won't matter if we die out...
