Melophobia are a four piece rock band from Co. Kildare, Ireland. They formed in the summer of 2004 and quickly climbed to the top of Dublin and Kildare music scene with the help of their debut EP, 'America Is Coming'. After undergoing several changes in both members and musical styles the band's debut album, 'Who Will Remain Standing?' is finally ready. This album mixes David Prendergast's dynamic vocal work with soaring rhythms performed by Stevie Darragh (bass) and Scott Johnson (drums). Scott Blanc's guitar architecture combines to churn out a record full of heart-pounding post-rock. 'Who Will Remain Standing?' is being launched on the 25th of June in Whelan’s with a UK tour on the horizon. After five years of playing together, growing and maturing musically, they have created a live show with an ambiance that captures their listeners; an energetic and melodic live sound that must be experienced to be understood.
