any hints and secrets you can tell about the office?

My only question is when do you find time to sleep? I'm an artist and I understand the need to create but you give a whole new meaning to over achiever.
Great work! While you're at it do you do voice over work at all?

I saw you in the Hannah Montana movie tonight with my daughter, loved it!!!! That movie was so much better than I expected, the music, the way it was written, the acting, etc etc.. just plain 'real', not cheesy. My favorite songs are Climb, Butterfly (great father-daughter song), and the square dance one. =) You were great and so different from your character on The Office. When we first saw you on the screen, my daughter & I both shouted, "Jan!", Lol.. Miss you on that show too. Hope you get to come on some more times & we can see how the baby is growing.

On the DVD please include Bloopers, Outtakes, Deleted Scenes, AUDIO COMMENTARIES (not the kind that people just say "it was an honor to work with them, great actor, etc., give behind the scenes info, like this scene took us 28 takes because we were laughing so hard, or this scene (which could be the 15th scene in the movie) was the FIRST production shot of filming, etc. We want to know what all happened on set, what worked, what didn't.




I see you are on Twitter (should have checked that before I posted a few minutes ago) and that is a great site with MAXIMUM exposure.

Twitter is all the rage now and accounts have increased 600% in the last 3 months. You'll get maximum exposure there. Go to ...com to link pages to your film's website to promote it. I'm in Phoenix, and I'd love to know if it will be released here. Sounds like a great cast and you have described it in such a way that I want to see it NOW!! Congrats on landing the role of Roxie in "Chicago". WOW!! I've never been to Broadway (or NY for that matter), but would love to someday and see some broadway shows. Gosh, if you can make it there, you can make it ANYWHERE! I love your work in tv and films, Melora.

MySpace has "bulletins" which show up on all your friends' pages. I would definitely suggest posting one. I know it could seem a bit "whorish," but I would also recommend asking your MySpace "friends" to then post their own bulletins about the film, with a link to the page, etc. It has worked wonders for spreading the word when I've needed some assistance with the rabbit rescue organization for which I volunteer.

I watched the trailer today for the first time today, and I have to say it is the first and only time I've ever cried at a freakin' TRAILER. Jeeez... the film looks so so good.
I am dying to get it! (I just love Joely Fisher!!)

Definitely branch out to as many sites as possible, which seems to be the common consensus here. From there, tell your friends to tell a friend... and just go crazy with advertising. Youtube may be a good medium as well.




As for behind the scenes features, interviews are always great and so are bloopers... those are what I find myself watching the most. From the sound of this awesome project, especially a family one, the outtakes must be hilarious.

I say do all of the above. Set up a Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Website, etc. Make every opportunity available for fans to connect with the project through whichever avenue they prefer.
To cut down on the work of maintaining all of that, you can use great 3rd party sites like ping.fm.




Maybe even set up a couple different twitter accounts for actual characters in the film. Maybe you could release 1-2 minute High Quality clips over youtube and the official website along with semi-weekly video podcasts or interviews. The video views, twitter followers, and facebook fans could maybe even help get festivals more interested or wider distribution.

I always like behind the scenes things that deal with story bording, art direction, concept through post production- things like that. Bloopers are a must.

Hi, Melora I really enjoy watching you on the office and I see that youve been very busy with kinds of projects! I'm sorry that I didn't get to see you in Chicago but, I'm hoping to catch your movie when it comes out just keep me posted on it's release date. Can't wait to see YOU! I always love seeing behind the scene footage and also bloopers! I LOVE a gag reel. I usually come to myspace and/or facebook the most. I hope all is well and I can't wait to see YOU when it FINALLY comes out to buy/download.
