"the band"... Trace 'the bass' keeps things cool and smooth at Melt's low end with her sexy Ibanez aka... Stella; Beck (otherwise know as Bang Bang or Baba!!) is our 'sister of the sticks'; Kez is Melts amazing singer, vocal harmonist and lead guitarist; Tina is the bands singer, songwriter, rhythm guitarist and the overall mastermind behind the Melt phenomenon.
Influences
Combined, Melt love the work of artists and bands such as INXS, Pearl Jam, Chili Peppers, The Beatles, Powderfinger, Massive Attack and most things 80's, 90's, dance, trance and beyond.
Talk about sex on stage!!! Melt is a Sydney based all girl outfit who hit the live scene in July 2006 debuting as a three piece at the Harp Hotel in Tempe. Since then, they have racked up a respectable number of gigs performing at venues such as... Annandale Hotel, @Newtown RSL, The Excelsior in Surry Hills 'n Glebe and The Cat and fiddle, Sando and Ruby Rabbit to name a few. Melt are a strong originals band with an Indie Rock/Pop feel but they always lash out with some sexy covers. These girls deliver a tight set with lyrics and harmonies that are said to be "inspirational" and "uplifting" and the music ROCKS!!!

There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.
1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.

Three things I took away from Lindsay's trivia night: 1) A box of Turkish Delight 2) I can't do roman numerals in medium pressure situations. 3) A smuck of Jellyfish.
