Blues drenched rock & roll soul music is the calling card of this Toronto band. Nelson Sobral weaves soulful vocals, craftsmanship and blistering guitar work into every song along with bassist & long time collaborator Darin Meilleur, whose groove ridden bass lines push and pull on the music as they give every song a pulse and a heartbeat. Holding it all down in the rhythm section Carmelo Galle kicks up a fierce storm to match the energy of the music and boost it along to its anthemic heights. This is the sound of Melting Pot.

Vedette is playing this Friday (Oct 9th) at the Silver Dollar (NW corner of College & Spadina) and will be joined by Palace of the End, Nature Move Faster as well as Actors and Architechts (who promise a PARTY, because they are are having their CD release Party!!!). As well, it is Thanksgiving weekend, and there's just so much to be thankful for, including live music in this great city of ours, and BOOZE... so are you comin' or what?
