If you're interested in playing at one of our 'Melting Pot Nights' or getting involved in any other way, please "Add" us and drop a few lines (or email us at info (at) meltingpotonline.com) Melting Pot is responsible for running Melbourne's first 'Songwriters in the Round' night every Friday night at Seraphim (Formerly Vibe on Smith) since February 2009. We run bigger band shows at some of Melbourne's premier venues including The Northcote Social Club, The Espy, The Corner Hotel, The Evelyn, The East Brunswick Club and among many others. We are currently running Melbourne's one and only 'Songwriters In The Round' Every Friday Night @ Seraphim The 'Round' is an unorthodox performance format. During the night we have six different artists (three at a time) sharing the stage for roughly 90 minutes, taking turns playing their original tunes. It's a unique experience for both the Audience & Performers, and we figured it was about time that Melbourne has a night like this! It's as though you're playing in someone's living room with a P.A and a bar that serves awesome food. All of the door proceeds from the night go to the performers. Come down to Seraphim @ 123 Smith St on any given Friday to experience the experience!
