Hi everyone! we are "APEX", a hard working band from Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire.
After many name & line-up changes ( Mainly Drummers ) we have settled down & have been busy re-writing some of our original songs, learning some cool new cover’s, and are working on lot’s of new fresh tunes for a brand new set-list.
We should be recording new tracks in 2008, because this page feels sooo empty without some music! so stay tuned for our new and re-written songs!
We are 5 different people with MANY different influences, which helps in the variety of our music.
We started out as a punk band back in 2005 called Infectious, and after playing some crazy "Very Loud" gig’s in local venues ( R.I.P The Bricklayers Arms )
we ventured to Leicester to play gig’s at The Shed and The Charlotte.
Then came the big line-up change when Tom and Jamie joined up in late 2007, and we played our very first gig as "APEX" at the Big Night Out 4 in March 08.
So with a fresh line-up and some new songs in the making, expect to see us around! who knows what 2008 has in store eh!
This year we have been hard at work in the practise room, trying new songs and styles which is working very well!
