Melvitronica is one of Scotland's more hippie hip-hoppers more interested in the power of the music itself, the fat beats & overpowering bleeps & buzzes rather than a raging rapper moaning about whats wrong in the world. The music is driving sections of multi tempo ed juxtaposing electronic & acoustic sounds and catchy vocal samples one of many young artists who could be grouped in the DJ shadow ilk but with definite influences of a much more British Trip-hop feel.
Not just sticking to the Scottish hip-hop scene Adam Paul Melvin's Music has been part of many other exciting projects working with theater companies such as Highway Diner & also working with contempary dancers from the Space Dundee as well as composing original scores for worth while charitable organizations such as Fast Forward. & performing at Boxwars and along with
Laura lewis & the Tea Dance Orchestra at Neue Leibe as well as a weekly dj slot on wednesdays at the GRV Robotales
