I'm a 25 years old singer/songwriter from Kongsberg in Norway. I finished my studies at LIPA in Liverpool in 2006.I live in Oslo working as a music teacher at Skiringssal Folkehøyskole besides writing music and playing concerts with my newly established band.
I started writing music on the organ already at the age of 11, with legs so short I could hardly reach down to the pedals. A few years later I discovered both the joy of singing and the beauty of guitars, and has been writing tunes ever since. Knowing 4 chords on the guitar at the age of 15, I wrote a couple songs, and went out there and started performing. After being involved both as a songwriter and singer in several rock bands, I fell in love with the acoustic sound.
In December 2005 I finished my debut solo EP, and have sold several copies and gotten great reviews in local newspapers and amongst listners. In June 2006 I released my second EP, and now I am working on an album hopefully to be finished this summer.
Good music when the days are grey, but also a great way to get a smile on your face!!
