THE BAND..S RECENT YEARS: The band formed in Lenart in November 2004 when singer Peter Šenekar joined forces with guitarist Denis Cucek and drummer Rok Poštrak. Just two weeks after the first ever rehearsal they applied to a rock group competition, even though their ambitions of making it in the world of music were still low and forming – rocking the stage was all there was. But even without a bass player and still writing a song whilst driving to the concert, they won that night and placed second in the final evening.
In the end of April 2005, the band decided it was time to share their music with the world. Single Sing Us a Song was produced by Bor Zuljan and recorded in Nova Gorica. The song has been a minor hit, since it has been played by almost every commercial and some non-commercial radio stations in Slovenia. Soon after the band was sought after by several Slovenian music producers as well as one major foreign label. But nothing good can come from rushing – the six months of chaos that followed resulted in the departure of the band’s keyboards player and only female member Vanja Fekonja, which caused the negotiation with the record labels to be postponed. After some time of searching for one’s self, the group was reinforced by keyboards and bass both. Primož Kramberger and Žiga Kreševic helped form the image the group has today. Finally they formed a music style of their own, which cannot, due to the colourfulness of their influences, be described in one word. Their music is their own.
The group’s enthusiastic comeback to the music stages happened in March 2006. after numerous concerts, the second single and the only song written in the Slovenian language, “Soncna Stran” was recorded.
Now, after two years of creativity and live performances, the band is richer by experiences and material, and they are ready to take the big step – making the album’s next, and it’s happening November 2008. Fingers crossed!

THE NAME: MEMENTO MORI [latin] - remember that you are mortal, or remember your own death. The band uses the Latin phrase in a definition more positive than the standard, in its ironic interpretation and in a sense closer to that of carpe diem. Each individual must in his or her lifetime acknowledge mortality and that time is not an ally – never does one know when the reaper will strike. Therefore, it is only logical that we should enjoy our lives fully, live to our potential and be as creative and ambitious as possible.

Skupina Obduction po uspesni promociji »Peephole Into Emotions« (EP 2007) in zmagi na graskem festivalu NewComer2008 napoveduje prvenec FINGERPRINT.
Zasedba deluje v Kranju, v nespremenjeni postavi od leta 2006, odtisi pa so vidni v njeni nekaj letni preteklosti. K sodelovanju pri FINGERPRINT so, kot pri Peephole Into Emotions (EP 2007), povabili Blaza Soklica, ki je sestavil zvocno sliko, ter Andrejo Zavrsnik, ki je poskrbela za vizualno podobo plosce. Svoj odtis so pustili se gostujoci glasbeniki: Shero (Leaf-Fat), Tim in Pero (Srecna mladina), Anze (ex Escape).
Fingerprint je z vec kot le prepricljivim zvokom in estetsko dovrsenostjo preprical enega najaktivnejsih zaloznikov tovrstne glasbe pri nas, Celo pametno zalozbo, ki bo plosco izdala.
