About Memories from the Space Age

Only through the merging of technology and humanity does the world continue to spin... A hybrid of posthuman and human... Are we cyborgs, dependent on mathematical formulas and ethereal noise? Are our thoughts merely binary code filtered through processors? It's 2008; where is my flying car and teleportation pod? From the ashes of the Cold War, Memories From the Space Age is born.

Formed in Washington, D.C., during the winter of 2007, Memories From the Space Age--Jon Lyons, Chris D'Amore, Jeff Unger, and Brian Gibson--play rock music. The convergence of varied musical influences, straight-forward lyrics, and overdriven amps produces songs that are atmospheric, explosive, honest, and sincere.
