Menache is an all-instrumental Latin-driven project fusing elements of jazz, classical, and Persian styles. The basis of their music is an intertwining of melodies and solos between nylon- and steel-string guitars supported rhythmically by traditional dance grooves (samba, rumba, tango, waltz, etc). When appropriate, Menache encourages various guest muscians to join in ranging from vocals, keyboards, sax, trumpet, etc. Menache was established in 2004 out of St. Louis, MO.
Performances can be modified to accommodate any environment. A highly energized set is arranged for larger venues or events, while scaling down to acoustic percussion serves a more intimate setting.
With 20 original compositions mixed with numerous Latin and Jazz standards (including tributes to artists such as Acoustic Alchemy, Farshid Etniko, John Coletrane, Carlos Santana, Paco De Lucia, & Dave Brubeck), Menache is capable of providing over 4 hours of musical entertainment.
