- He's the youngest, he's the free-est and he knows how to have a good time! Ad's big loves are footy and romantic nights in. This wild, worldly, country boy loves life.
Ben
- A wise head on great looking shoulders. Ben boasts an IQ of 153 and claims if he has some spare time in the future he'd like to heal souls through the medium of oil on canvas. A true friend to the whole world.
Graeme
- Don't be deceived by the innocent appearance. Graeme is a hunk of a man who is equally at home on the rugby pitch as he is on stage. He has a big frame and an even bigger voice! Inspired to start singing by Gary Barlow and Tupac in the early nineties, Graeme has never looked back.
Gray
- Gray is a free spirit and is at one with nature. The guy has a passion for the outdoors and the environment. If he had a million pounds he'd set-up an animal sanctuary for orphaned and unwanted animals.
Influences
We all have a wide ranging taste in music. Hopefully this will be reflected in our first album. There should be something for everyone in there. We don't want to be "just another male harmony group".
The group consists of a close-knit set of friends/family who decided they needed to give the public what they wanted...a new boyband. The gaping void left by A1, East 17, Blue & One True Voice is still to be filled...until now.
The seed of the band was planted a couple of years ago when it became apparent that all 4 of us shared a passion for singing. However, it wasn’t until Take That reformed that these 4 handsome men decided that they should focus on achieving their dream.
The Menergy X sound is a mix of contemporary & classic. It is inspired by a shared love of music of black origin (John Legend, Lionel Ritchie, Luther Vandross & Dizzee Rascal have all been big influences on the group) and popular music, and the fusion of of these 2 genres have formed the foundation of Menergy X’s music.
I am working on The Sunday Night Project on Channel 4 and we are looking for an aspiring boy band to possibly appear on the programme on Wednesday. I saw your advert on the internet - bit of a long shot but wondered if you had formed a band and whether this might be something to interest you...
We have Boyzone appearing on the show and we would like for an aspiring male vocal group to be in the audience and then possibly sing acapella for Boyzone to show off their talent.
