The folk-music duo, Men of Worth, was formed by James Keigher (Ireland) and Donnie Macdonald (Scotland) in 1986. Both exiles, it was through the Celtic music scene in Southern California that James and Donnie first met, and within a couple of years a partnership developed that was simultaneously serious and fun. Whilst remaining true to their Gaelic roots, Men of Worth have successfully evolved as entertainers. A natural progression toward education and travel has sealed the next decade as an exciting and pioneering era for the versatile duo. Cultural presentations in Schools have received rave reviews by students and teachers alike.
James and Donnie have been offering travelers a first hand experience of their respective homelands since April 2003. The continuing success and popularity of the Men of Worth Tours has created two tours each year in Scotland, and two tours each year in Ireland.
Well, the guys were amazing last night at the Casa Roble German & Drama benefit concert. Sean(Drama club president) and I(German club president) really appreciate the taking time out of your busy schedules and stopping by on your way down to southern California. The show was great. Thank you so much! -Elyse Byrum
