This project came about in order to bring a new distinctive sound to light.
While working on this project we've been influenced by quite a number of music styles and genres, some of them has been combined for new variations of sound.
In this project we have seeked to express the atmosphere of ethereal harmonies, but in the same time the unpredictability and precession of trance. Uniting the obscure with vivid "morning" trance have been the most spicy and fun part for us...
Originally, Mentalist had a "hard"-trance sound with lots of "dark" techno-house lines. However, as time went by the sound grew purer, solid and more progressive.
It has got wide range of sounds variously combinated within genres (such as: psy prog techno goa tribal/ethnic ethereal and few more...), female lead/background vocals, numerous atmospheric and
hypnotic melodies, heavy duty rythms and grooves...
The tracks have got strong trance dynamics fit to cause intense exhilaration on the dancefloor...
