Mental War was formed in 2009 and since then developed its own unique style inspired by Metal bands like Slayer, Testament, Cannibal Corpse and more… And some days later the band started to work on their first songs.
Finally, in March 2010 the line-up was completed for the first time. Andy (drums) and Erik joined Mental War. In August 2010, the first live-gig was performed at a Metal de Houte Festival.
In the end of 2010 Mental War released a live demo with 5 songsrecorded on Metal de Houte and Andy (drums) left the band. Some days later Magnus joined MW and the band was complete. The feedback was more than huge, while this demo has been used to apply for more live gigs and they have continually pushed themselves in order to create the definitive sound of Mental War. Day by day the band got more shows and got into studio on April 2011 to record their first 6 Songs EP. Erik (bass) left the band, please welcome Stephan.
The Depths of Depravity EP is finally ready on March2012, produced by EugenGetman (Sariola) at his own studio in Duisburg and released two months later. The sound of the new stuff is murderous and the band gets a heavy tight aggressive style with shredding guitars, various vocals mean blasting and groove drum playing with hell bass lines. Mental War is planning to play more shows and it will improve the bands new killing style and … Moving on... some said "Mental War could crush anyone on stage"…other said " they are here to destroy ears and bring brutality to the land" … but this is the future …
Now Mental War is working on new stuff and some new songs appears on the band's last shows and the crowd seems to fucking love it and it seems that they made the next step……… get into the studio to record their new album..

Biografie

Mental War aus Mönchengladbach, wurde 2009 gegründet.
Die Band besteht aus: Dennis (Guitar), Tom (Guitar), Eugen (Vox),Stephan (Bass) und Magnus (Drums).
Auf der musikalischen Ebene bilden MENTAL WAR eine Symbiose aus Speed-Metal und modernem Thrash-Metal. Geprägt ist die Musik durch aggressive vorantreibende Schlagzeug Rhythmen, technische und präzise Gitarrenriffs sowie einen kraftvollen markanten Gesang in einer ausgewogenen Präsentation - dies zeichnet Mental War aus.
Viele verschiedene Einflüsse tragen zu den abwechslungsreichen Songs bei .Die Verbindung ergibt daher eine Musik, die an Power, Brutalität und Ausdruckskraft ihres Gleichen sucht.
Auf der Bühne besticht Mental War vor allem durch starke Präsenz, Liebe zum Metal und der damit verbundene Spielfreude. Gepaart mit der Fähigkeit diese Power aufs Publikum zur übertragen ist diese Formation unschlagbar.
Wer also aufgrund der Lawine an Pop und irgendwelchen uninspirierten Gedudel bereits die traurige Vermutung hegte, der METAL befinde sich aufgrund der Unlust der jungen Generation ihn am Leben zu erhalten, endgültig im musikalischen Abseits, kann aufatmen – er lebt und erfreut sich bester Gesundheit.

MENTAL WAR из Города Менхенгладбах/Германия, была основана в декабре 2009 годa..
На музыкальные уровне MENTAL WAR предстовляют симбиоз спид-металлa и современногo трэш-металлa. Характеризуется сплав мелодики и агрессии,угарность, неординарный узнаваемый вокал, смешение тяжелых стилей и жесткое поведение на сцене - все это выделяет группу из общей массы, играющих в том же направлении.
После основания в группе поменялись несколько барабанщиков и бассистов, ихнии имена были входе истории к сожаленью забыты.
Полгода спустя группа (которая состоит из: Денис (гитара), Том (гитара), Евгений (Vox), и Магнус (ударные)) уже выступает на фестивале Metal de Houte и этот, так сказать, сплав, объединяющий в себе и дэсовые риффы, и трэшевый "кач" продолжает без остановки дальше выступать.
2011 , Новый материал не заставляет себя ждать, группа находится в студии и записывает первый диск , который выйдет в мае этого года.
