menwhopause was literally forced by its bunch of dedicated supporters and believers to push the music they were producing in an abandoned warehouse out into the open.
since 2001, menwhopause has been setting benchmarks in india's rock music scene as one of the first bands to have stuck to playing only original music and concentrating on the art of songwriting.
menwhopause's debut concept album 'home' was released internationally september 2006.
march 2007 saw menwhopause play at south by south west [sxsw], in austin, texas, the first ever gig by an indian rock band at the festival.
menwhopause was also awarded the jack daniel's legendary mash best rock band 2007-2008, india, award in february 2008.
in march 2008, menwhopause toured texas, starting from houston and culminating with shows in austin coinciding with sxsw 2008.
