/// What is Merce Death?
Merce Death is a band with just me, my solo project. It's a "gig" band meaning only live improvisational performances.
/// How do I play?
I play a guitar and I use a sampler for REALTIME recording. First, I play some kind of phrase and then I record it with sampler. Second, I add some other phrases. I use every sound that the guitar can make (for example I beat the guitar often). I don't use other musical instruments or other digital stuff. Third, I play a solo part. It's the most usual way.
And when I play songs, I don't decide what I will play, just improvisation. Also I play it just hand habit :)
