Monster Fest 2008 is the offspring of last years successful "Monsters Of Mock" concert held at Merced County Fairgrounds which drew in over 800 crazy rock & roll fans to experience some of the best tribute bands the valley and bay area have to offer!
This years Monster Fest 2008 will be twice as huge in every demension you could ever imagine. We are going to have an indoor stage and an outdoor stage. The heavier hard rock will be inside, and the classic rock will be outside. There are going to be 12 bands, half of them tributes, the other local original/cover bands. There will also be plenty of food booths, vendor booths and plenty of beer for those who are over 21. We are expecting over 1,200 to show up this year with the event starting at 3:30 in the afternoon and running through to 11:30 in the evening. Basically Merced, you are getting an all day rock fest to fill your musically hungry souls with all of the trimmings!
Ticket prices are $15.00 in advance or $20.00 at the door.

Basically BIGGER, BADDER and MORE. Bigger badder bands. More stages and vendors. Just bigger badder and more EVERYTHING.

NOWHERE NEAR - Nowhere Near has been rockin’ the Central Valley, playing venues from Clovis to Sacramento and from Modesto to San Jose, since 1996.
CHAMBER 7 - Chamber 7 is a super-charged metal band that has graced stages big and small, playing with many major bands all over the country.
KHYRAL -After many changes, the band has finally taken shape to form an intricate mix of thrash and death metal .
ELECTRIC SOUP - If you live in Merced or the surrounding area, everyone knows of Electric Soup and their crazy onstage antics!
