Ball busters. We've been called that for much of our 19+ year existence. Love us or hate us, think were full of shit or the Zen masters of sonic enlightenment, either way works for us because at the end of the day, we're not looking to be all things to all people.
Let's get to the point; we are not a box house. We do not have the lowest prices. We do not stock every audio product in creation because everyone else does. We do not put candy in our boxes and most importantly; we are never going to sell you a piece of gear.
We are a support company. We call to make sure youre still in love with your new DW Fearn VT1 after you've played it with it for a few weeks. We will take it back unconditionally if you are not. We double all manufacturers warrantees, in some cases this means two lifetimes. We provide tech support for products we don't carry. We put earplugs in our boxes.
We believe if given the right tools and the right advice on how to use them, you can improve the quality of your audio.
Our crew has a ridiculous number of cumlative years of recording and live sound experience. We have our own "in-house" studio, the Methods and Applications Laboratory, where we try to put together practical gear reviews, application notes, and comparisons... a salaried sales staff to help you not sell you [we don't sell gear at Mercenary Audio... but lots of people seem to come to us to purchase some... there is a difference], and there is a gaggle of strange, possibly inbred, geese inhabiting the nearby pond and hang out if front of our building... which may be yet another reason we have a well stocked bar in the kitchen [if you're ever planning on dropping by, call ahead to tell us what you drink so we'll have it when you show up].
We are Mercenary Audio.
