Mercè Homs nació en Vic en 1977. Desde muy joven se siente atraída por el arte de la técnica delante de los platos, es por eso que MerchyPoP; siempre vinculada a la música electrónica empieza a ejercer su faceta como Dj. en la SALA NEXUS (Backroom) de su Vic natal, Sala dónde compaginaba su residencia como Dj. con la dirección artística del club.
Siempre ha dado total importancia a la música formando parte de su vida.
En constante evolución, ha pasado por las cabinas de los clubs mas emblemáticos del territorio catalán y Berlinés.
MerchyPoP* compagina su faceta de Dj. con la gerencia de su salón de peluqueria y estilismo M.Homs Hair Stylist* en Vic, donde da cabida al arte en varias de sus vertientes, pintura, estilismo (Ropa de jovenes Diseñadores), Complementos y música electrónica : Selections @ MH MuziK* con programación de Dj. sets, live en directo todos los viernes por la tarde de 17:00 h a 20:00h.
Paralelamente a parte de sus colaboraciones con SoundworkS se involucra con uno de los colectivos más underground de la escena electronica: ArkitexturA,,, Junto a sus componentes: Willy, Sybarite, Mane-l, Serx, Clikman, Isaak Grau, Alex Pesa, Neuron, Negat i kss. y se vuelca para dar a conocer su vertiente mas Minimal / House / Micro Funk / Deep / Tech-house / Minimal-Tecno...

Mercè Homs was born in Vic in 1977. Since she was young she has been attracted by the art of the Dj mixing technique, this is why MerchyPoP, always linked to the electronic music, has begun to project her Dj's side in Nexus (Backroom), in Vic, where she was raised, place where she combines being a resident Dj with the artistic selection of the club. She has always given a high importance to music as part of her life.

Apart from her colaborations with Soundworks she is also asosiated with Arkitextura one of the most underground colectives in the electronic scene, composes by; Willy, Sybarite, Mane-l, Serx, Clikman, Isaak Grau, Alex Pesa, Neuron, Negat i kss. Mercè Homs ist in Vic im Jahr 1977 geboren. Seitdem sie sehr jung war, nahm sie sich für die Dj mixing Technik ein.
Sie wurde Merchy Pop genannt und hatte deshalb immer mit der elektronischen Musik etwas zu tun und began lange her als Dj. in dem Nexus Club (Backroom) in ihr Heimatdorf Vic in Katalonien zu arbeiten. In diesem Club ist, wo sie ihr Dj resident mit der Clubs Regie vereinbarte.
Sie hat immer auf die Musik Wert gelegen und sie hat in ihrem Leben immer teilgenommen. Mit einer ständigen Entwicklung ist sie durch die wichtigsten Kabinen der Clubs in ganzen Katalonien vorbeigegangen.
Merchy Pop vereinbart ihr Facette als Dj mit der Geschäftsführung iher Friseursalon und Stylism M. Homs Hair Stylist – Vic gennant, worin Kunst in den verschieden Abdachungen hineinpasse, wie z.B. Stilism, Malerei und elektronische Musik : Selections @ MH MuziK* mit Dj Programme und live sets freitags und von 17 bis 20 Uhr.
