Mercury Crossing is an original power-trio from Milwaukee, WI. Founded in 2005 by guitarist and lead vocalist Sheri Roloff, the group has been performing live around Milwaukee for the past 3 and a half years while recording and releasing two full-length professional studio albums, and has now released a new six track EP. Mercury Crossing's sophomore release (2007's Social Graces Set Aside) had two tracks (1 Casting Spells and 4 Sell Sell Sell) receive radio play in Milwaukee on 91.7FM WMSE and 102.1 Independent Alternative. Mercury Crossing's new EP entitled Red July solidifies the group's image and musical direction with 6 driving rock songs that not only catch you, but keep you entertained over and over. Sheri Roloff truly breaks the mold of having a stereotypical female singer in a rock band - she not only fronts the band with her vocals, but also lays down the only guitar track with a tenacity that leaves no one in the audience wondering about the legitimacy of her musicianship.
Mercury Crossing has just released their 3rd studio album, entitled 'Red July', and will be playing out in support of this release all summer and fall. Check out some video footage taken from the studio below:

Hey guys and gal, Thanks for hitting me back here and on Indie on the Move. Got the message but things have been pretty busy here so I apologize for the delayed response. We'd definitely be down to swap some dates with you guys. Our August schedule is pretty much wide open. I'm sure we can either throw you guys on a bill with us somewhere or put you in contact with a few venues and booking agents who could get you a show. Were you looking for shows in the city or in the burbs? Let me know and we'll get the wheels in motion. Peace.
Hey Mercury Crossing! You guys sound great! Can't wait to hear more. (Owen rocks!) Looking forward to the gig with you May 8 at Points East. See ya - Scott (new drummer for Not Worth Remembering)
