Mercury Crowe is a rock band hailing from Wellington, New Zealand. Formed while the four members were studying at University, they soon began playing gigs around Wellington, while constantly writing, recording and performing new songs. A regular schedule of live shows over the next couple of years allowed the band to finely hone their music, producing a sound that is tight and energetic. The band credit this sound to the rock, pop, and blues that they’ve all grown up on, and draw influence from a wide range of music resulting in a style that has not been heard in the Wellington and NZ music scene for quite some time.
Mercury Crowe are currently booking summer gigs and festivals to promote the release of their debut self-titled EP which is available by contacting the band through myspace.com/mercurycrowe, or mercurycrowe.com.
‘…if you like a band that can provide a musical shopping experience of a variety of tunes – you’ll like these guys’.
- Sarah H. (TheSet.co.nz)
‘Mercury Crowe are a tight band that are definitely worth catching if you’re into honest rock music with an exciting live performance’.
my bet is that it's the beer. woah what a rant! um lizZie did give me the music. um yeh a lesson can be cool, when are you thinking plus when's this second week rerehsal? i'm sorry that my bass is better than yours slash i don't think me learning left handed will make your pain go away. i agree, mugabe [ i can't spell and don't care] is a dick, if only he could be fired. um yeah swweet.

Rowan! Hello how are you? I am back from my trip and basically I wanna see what I need to learn before band this monday. Or well.. try to learn. I know exo-politics will be one, but is there anything else I need to be aware of haha? Also, I need you to help me learn some bass techniques. I dunno if you have heard but I have to play bass for house music but ashleigh has informed me that it is easy and it looks easy but i want some cool bass techniques so I can look badass. Well not really, no one looks at the band anyway.
Hope your month has been swell. I hope band practise is after school next monday. Anyway if you dont read this before the weekend i will just learn exo politics as much as i can haha. ciao!
Hey Allan! Great to hear from you man. Yeah I'm good, how about you? How's Mercury Crowe going? I heard one of your songs on the radio when I was in Christchurch =).
